According to the Rt. Rev. Prosper Samuel Dzomeku, Moderator of the Synod of the Global Evangelical Church, Ghanaians might easily overcome the current economic difficulties they are suffering if God is permitted to be present in their everyday lives.

He asserted that a speedy turnaround required both individuals and the nation to repent and include God in every aspect of life.

God is holy and demands that his followers be similarly holy; thus, if Ghanaians as a whole decide to live holy lives wherever we are, our current plights will change.

"We are facing these difficulties right now because we are not reliable at our places of employment.

People who are given financial authority at different workplaces, for example, mismanage the cash and start non-governmental organizations to make money off of the recipients.

"My sisters and brothers in the Lord, let us remember that God is always keeping an eye on us, no matter where we go or what we do.

He will return at an undetermined time and, based on our actions, either reward or punish us.

Therefore, in order to receive God's blessings, Rt. Rev. Dzomeku counseled that "we need to repent from the sins of corruption, LGBTQI+, willful destruction of the environment and water bodies through galamsey, among others, and exhibit Godly values."

Induction

Last Sunday, the Global Evangelical Church hosted an induction ceremony for two directors who would be in charge of running the organization.

They were Solomon Dziekpor, director of finance, and Rev. Wisdom Ayitey, director of physical development and social services.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish from the University of Ghana, Legon, Rev. Ayitey also possesses a Master of Science in Management from the University of Glamorgan in the United Kingdom.

As a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana, Mr. Dziekpor is a chartered accountant.

He also has a Master of Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Industrial Finance and Investment.

Dr. Archibald Letsa, the Volta Regional Minister and a church presbyter, was present.

Additionally present were the entrants' family members and friends, a few traditional leaders, and other luminaries from the business world, the government, the security services, and civil society.

Rev. Dr. Yohanes Ahiabu, the church's synod clerk, gave an introduction to the ceremony's inductees.
