Joe Hart has been candid about leaving Manchester City, revealing Pep Guardiola's ruthlessness.
Hart enjoyed eight trophy-laden seasons at City before leaving in the summer of 2016.
Guardiola's arrival marks the end of Hart's move to the Etihad Stadium, despite the goalkeeper's long-term contract.
He is in the second year of his five-year deal but has been ruthlessly sacked by the Spaniard, who brought in Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.

The goalkeeper, then an England international, eventually managed to leave the club when he moved to play for Torino in Serie A. On the nature of leaving Man City, he told Ben Foster:
"Pep came in. I'm not his goalkeeper. I signed a five-year contract for two years, a solid contract that someone can't break. Technically, I'm an asset to the club. set.
"So they can't give me even if they don't need me anymore. So it's a bit messy."

He added:
"So obviously I try, you know, it's okay. That's football. I love Man City.
"My love for them will never change. But I love the club. If the team changes and the times change, then I have to change.
"And if the most important person doesn't want me, then I have to go elsewhere. So anyway, I tried to move here. It was the end of the transfer window so it was very busy.
"But everyone has made a decision about the goalkeepers."

Hart went on to detail how the move to Italy came about after lengthy transfer negotiations. "So I left England anyway - Big Sam's first camp and he still picked me even though I hadn't started the first two," he said. .
“Obviously I had to go somewhere, and just like that, at the end of August, something like this happened in Turin.

"I don't know how it happened. They weren't a big moneymaker in Italy. But anyway, behind the scenes, they made it work."
However, Hart spent only one season with the Turin-based team but enjoyed every minute of his stay in Italy. "I absolutely love it. It's a great place, a great city," he revealed. "I went there on my recent international vacation. I made some good friends and a naughty football club.
“Many souls, many souls, the heart of the city. And I love it."

Hart returned to the Premier League after his time in Turin on loan from West Ham United.
Burnley signed him on a permanent contract before Tottenham secured his services next season.
The 36-year-old is currently enjoying his football at Celtic, where he has won consecutive national championships.
