With three games remaining, the Foxes, who host Liverpool on Monday, are two points from a playoff spot.
Dean Smith is adamant that Leicester's fight for survival cannot be given up on.
After a devastating 5-3 loss at Fulham, the Foxes play Liverpool on Monday in risk of being relegated.
They are in the middle of a stretch of four Monday games while third from the bottom of the Premier League, two points from safety, and playing after most of their relegation opponents.
Although Smith has already criticized the scheduling, he still thinks the Foxes have a chance.
"We were written off six games ago, and all of a sudden Leeds and Everton were written off, and now Everton aren't," the Leicester manager added. The game can soon shift.
"Monday was our 'I Don't Like Mondays' (Boomtown Rats) day; the next time, it will be someone different.
"My responsibility is to explain what happened. The following day, we returned so that we could wrap up and rationalize the game. The players are aware of what transpired, as are the other coaches, and we have moved on.
"It was a blow, but we won't know how big a one it was until after this game on Monday. Although you can't alter it, you can repair it and move on.
Kelechi Iheanacho's groin injury prevents him from playing against Jurgen Klopp's team, therefore Smith anticipates fielding the same team.
The squad's dedication has come under scrutiny because numerous players, like Youri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu, are no longer under contract, but Smith anticipates that they will put themselves into the struggle for survival.
"None of the players want to remain in our current situation. They are looking for solutions on their own. The boys all care; they simply express it differently, he said.
"I anticipate a fight, but I anticipate higher quality than what we demonstrated in our ability to make decisions. We need points, and since it's a home game for us, we hope Jurgen will be pleased with the fight he witnesses.
