Ten Hag stated that Rashford is "more than doubtful" to play due to his leg injury.
As Raphael Varane makes his comeback from a month-long absence, Marcus Rashford is a significant question mark for Manchester United's encounter against Wolves on Saturday. This presents Erik ten Hag with yet another injury concern.
Rashford, who has scored 29 goals for United this season, is dealing with a leg ailment, according to Ten Hag, and is "more than doubtful" to participate in the match, which United must win to put Liverpool at bay in the race for a top-four spot.
With only six goals in their previous nine games, United has been scoring poorly lately regardless of the injuries.
The manager remarked, "He's a big question mark for tomorrow, but we are happy Rafa is back."
United has won only two of its seven games without Varane since he was substituted at halftime of the first leg of their Europa League quarterfinal match against Sevilla at Old Trafford on April 13.
"He has experience, he knows how to win, and he will lead us in how to win, he will guide us," Ten Hag remarked.
Despite having played one more game, Liverpool has won six straight league games to pull within one point of United after an inconsistent season.
United's consecutive 1-0 losses to Brighton and West Ham have given Jurgen Klopp's team some hope, but Ten Hag said he was unconcerned with Liverpool's performance.
We may certainly disregard it, he said. Why not?" because it isn't significant. Everything is in our hands, and as long as we are in charge and independent of things, we are not dependent on them. We rely on our own abilities.
Liverpool's next game isn't until Monday when they travel to a weakened Leicester team; by then, United is hoping to have a four-point lead. Despite the strain, Ten Hag claimed his team was not showing any signs of trepidation.
