The victory over Southampton resulted in Tavernier suffering a hamstring strain.
Marcus Tavernier won't be available for Bournemouth's trip to Crystal Palace.
Tavernier sustained a hamstring injury in the victory against Southampton and is not yet fully recovered, while Kieffer Moore is back in the lineup after missing the loss to Chelsea last week due to concussion procedures.
Marcus Tavernier and Hamed Traore are still out for this match, according to manager Gary O'Neil, who was quoted on the club's official website.
"We have high hopes of seeing Traore before the season is out. The remaining members of the team are available and at a favorable location elsewhere.
"I'm happy to have Kieffer back," said Moore after completing the concussion protocol. "He's come off the bench recently and he gives us another outlet."
After a strong run, Bournemouth knows they are safe from relegation as they head to Selhurst Park.
With Roy Hodgson back, who, in O'Neil's words, "has got a real good tune out of them," their rivals are also no longer in danger.
Fantastic players, with genuine individual skill, he added.
"You look at the attacking threat they have, not just from the top line but also from (Jeffrey) Schlupp, (Wilfried) Zaha, and (Michael) Olise in the middle of the field.
Since he was brought in, (Cheick) Doucoure has excelled as a holding midfielder.
They have several highly talented players, such as the center-back duo of Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen. They make a good team.
Roy has undoubtedly entered and managed to spruce up the area a bit.
"He knows the group very well from when he was there previously, and sometimes a fresh pair of eyes, he has able to extract a really good song out of them.
We're in for a challenging afternoon. Going to Selhurst Park is never simple.
"Always a tense environment, but, yeah, a good opportunity for us to hopefully win another football game and move up the league."
