Ghanaian musician Black Sherif is in the news again for a good reason as always. At this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Black Sherif was crowned the overall winner and received his plaque for the artist of the year. Black Sherif was competing alongside great musicians like Ghanaian dancehall and reggae musician Stonebwoy and Gospel musician Piesie Esther, all the mentioned artists did great in their part and deserved the nomination, However, Per Eye saw and the kind of work Blacko performed last year, it was evident that he was going to win the award. Fab's and music lovers of Blacko began chanting his name and calling him Artist of the Year even before the date of the award show.
In the new post going viral on social media, Black Sherif along with some friends and fans were called out to a location on presented to brand new cars. One is a Mercedes Benz and a G-wagon, and per the video, it was announced that his management gifted him these cars as a sign of congratulations and to keep up with his good work. Black sheriff after receiving the award thank everyone for their support. He was later asked what he had to say and he ironically stated “Whatever I have to say, you will hear it from the car”.
Congratulatory messages are flying in and fans can't keep calm. Black Sherif is doing marvelous work with his craft and has gained some international recognition from bigger artists such as Burnaboy, wale, Dj Khaled, Rick Ross, and many more. His recent album, “THE VILLAIN I NEVER WAS” skyrocketed his career massively, and have performed on international stages.
He has also worked with artists such as Sarkodie, Burnaboy, Larry Gaaga, Popcan, Arrdee, Darkoo ans many more.
