In an effort to assist the England under-21 star's comeback, Frank Lampard has claimed that he sat down with Chelsea winger Noni Madueke after returning to the dugout at Stamford Bridge.
Madueke, like the majority of his colleagues and other newcomers, initially struggled under Graham Potter to make an immediate impact, frequently finding himself pulled out of the starting lineup.

There is potential in the building, asserted Lampard. "I believe Noni is a good example of a person who, in the first week of training, had obvious talent, but I wanted to see more," the author said.
"I had that chat with him, and he showed me more. Then, when he entered the game, he demonstrated to me not just his talent but also his character by taking the ball in a tense situation and displaying flashes of his talent.
That kind of player needs consistency around them to advance their own game, and this season hasn't provided it for them. I've mentioned it before in news conferences.
So that's probably something I've observed this season that others have probably noticed as well.
