NBA star Jason Tatum is going viral after news emerged that, he promised his mom he was never going to spend any NBA cheque he receives to ensure he protects his generational wealth, according to sources Tatum only spends money he receives from endorsement deals and even for that, he makes sure he receives permission from his mother if he wants to make large purchases. After the outbreak of the news, people began comparing Jason Tatum and PSG star Achraf Hakimi. Achraf Hakimi a few weeks ago went viral after his wife filed for divorce and demanded 50 percent of the player's wealth.
Upon going to court, it was revealed to the wife of Hakimi whom he shares two kids that, his millionaire husband has nothing as all his wealth is listed in his mother's name and his pay cheque at psg goes through his mum's account. In this case, Jason Tatum’s case is different per the NBA star he is willing to make sure the generation that will come after him will not suffer hence his decision to keep his pay cheque. “Generational wealth is a myth. Elvis Presley left his
daughter Lisa Marie 100 million in 1983 (worth
304 million today). She had around 20k when she
died. One generation makes it, the next generation
spends it”.

“I love reading how people automatically jump to
conclusions based on very little info on Twitter.
People were saying Jayson Tatum was a mama's
boy or a simp. It turns out his Mom is his business
manager. Every athlete needs one they can trust
and it's cool he is also his mom”.

“I've been watching this young man since his brief
time at Duke University. Tatum loves his
mother. And she has shown her love, commitment, and devotion to him. She is probably the best
banker/ financial advisor in America. The great story”.

“I don't believe in getting moms approval for my
hard-earned work but not spending game checks
is very wise and makes about 8 million in
endorsements a year”.
