News going viral suggests that a groom ditched his bride right in front of the crowd for disrespecting his mum. A user identified as @chrissiejide3 made a thread about how the whole incident happened. Read the thread below;
“My sister traveled for a colleague's wedding at Ekiti and surprisingly she came back home early then I asked her why she was home when she was supposed to be at the wedding. And she was like "What I saw today I've never seen such in my life. The bride and the groom were already dressed and about to go to a church wedding, the groom's mother came and said there was no way a church wedding is happening before the engagement.
The bride, groom, and other people there tried to convince this woman that that is their order of service and that the church will be waiting for them but she stood her ground. This led to a serious argument and somehow the bride got angry in a way that the groom felt that she disrespected his mom and this led to a fight between the groom and the bride. People tried to settle this but the groom's mother said Son, if truly I gave birth to you and you sucked my two breasts you will get into the car now and follow me home because this wedding is not going to hold and the groom followed his mother's words.
Just like a dream that was how they left and the
wedding did not hold"This bride-to-be became a shadow of herself. The shame was too much for her that she had to leave her job and relocate to another city”.
