WHY THE END OF THE 2022/23 SEASON MIGHT BE EXCITING FOR CHELSEA FANS

Chelsea have only four games left in the Premier League this season. Including the match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea also have to face Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United this season in the Premier League.

Obviously, these will be trouble-free games for Frank Lampard as they have nothing else at stake this season and they avoided relegation last weekend by beating Bournemouth.

However, the few games left this season will be very interesting and exciting for Chelsea fans as west London fans want to see the new signing play more minutes.

Frank Lampard did just that as Lewis Hall, Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke all started for Chelsea against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. It is not only the presence of young players and new players in the squad that attracts the attention of fans, because Chelsea could be given the opportunity to play at the top this season. The reason is that Chelsea can completely determine who gets into the top 4 and wins the Premier League at the end of this season.

Chelsea will face Manchester United and Newcastle United this season in the Premier League. Both clubs currently occupy the top four positions of the Premier League table, but they are yet to be eliminated.

If either Newcastle United and Manchester United lose to Chelsea or both lose to Chelsea, Chelsea could explode into the top four against Aston Villa, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton. West London could also derail Manchester City's plans to win the treble this season by beating Pep Guardiola's side and giving Arsenal the lead in the League title race.

Erling Haaland took little time to adjust to conditions in England when he arrived in England at the start of the season. Manchester City are said to have spent 51m on his services from Borussia Dortmund this summer. Since his introduction to the Premier League, the 22-year-old has been a discovery in his first season.

But the situation could have been very different. Instead of signing for Manchester's blue team, he could easily have put on the Red Devils shirt. As revealed by former Man Utd coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Red Devils were very lucky to recruit the Norwegian striker for only 4 million. But the club missed the opportunity, which has now become a major obstacle for them.

The former Manchester United manager has made startling statements regarding Erling Haaland's move to Manchester United

In an exclusive interview with Athletic, former coach Molde had his share. "I contacted United because we have the talented striker they should have.

"But unfortunately, they didn't listen. I asked four million. But they never signed it. Four million! Don't ask [where he is]. He's so good..."

Erling Haaland also broke the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League season. He surpassed Liverpool FC Mohamed Salah's record of 32 goals in a 38-game season and scored his 35th Premier League goal; he also broke the record held by Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole. There have been many twists and turns in the current United takeover saga, with Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe seemingly emerging as contenders. The former United manager has insisted that the current owners, the Glazer family, have to leave the job for the good of the club.

"It has to be done.

"Old Trafford was ignored. The training ground was ignored. We have to catch up with the other teams."
