NDC Primaries: Edem Kofi Kpotosu Elected for Deputy Ho Central
The Ghana Education Service (GES) Volta Regional Human Resources Manager, Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has been elected as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Ho Central.
He won six others, giving the closest candidate, Dr Robert Doh, a 42-vote lead in Saturday's primary. In a mediainterview after his statement,Mr Kpotosu said that the delegates elected him because they wanted a researcher with experience and ability to achieve the party's goals and "bring about change". "Ho Central representativeshave said, they want someone to do the job," he emphasized. He, therefore, promised to increase the NDC's electoral strength and power and ensure that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) registered a decline in its electoral profile.
