Anthony Martial's goal against Wolves was predicted by Bruno Fernandes since the Frenchman had a haircut prior to the match.
On Saturday, Manchester United defeated the opposition 2-0 at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Alejandro Garnacho.
The Manchester United captain said in a post-game interview with MUTV: "I knew he [Martial] was going to score tonight because he had his haircut with our barber. He achieves his objective every time he gets a haircut with him.
"Since we need Anthony, I'll be calling the barber every time to have him go get his hair trimmed the day before the game. We need the Anthony who scores goals, contributes greatly when he has the ball, and makes plenty of room for others.
In light of this, Fernandes said, "I'm really happy for his goal as well as for seeing [Alejandro] Garnacho returning to the games and scoring as well.
The 28-year-old emphasized the team's capacity to execute Erik ten Hag's gameplan on the day of the match against Wolves by saying:
"We executed our jobs well, which is why we received the three points. The Wolves are a very intelligent club that plays excellent defense. Being so close together, it's challenging to pass between their lines. They are of high caliber.
They have fast and technically proficient players up front, so we needed to be alert to potential counters, aware of when they got the ball, and pressing them appropriately. Since it was a professional performance, I believe we did pretty well and deserve the points.
The humorous reason Bruno Fernandes foresaw Anthony Martial scoring against Wolves is revealed.
Erik Lamela, a former Tottenham winger, has talked about how and why he sent Anthony Martial to the stands for Manchester United in a Premier League match in 2020.
At the start of the 2020–21 season, Spurs memorably defeated Manchester United 6–1, with the visitors scurrying off when Martial was given the boot.
