In the lead-up to the Hammers' 2-0 loss at Brentford, Divin Mubama was found to have handled.
David Moyes thinks that too many bizarre VAR decisions have gone against West Ham.
The Hammers' goal in their 2-0 loss at Brentford was contested after they had just been rejected penalties for handballs against Liverpool and Manchester United.
Said Benrahma's cross ricocheted off a post and struck Divin Mubama, who had raised his hand to stop himself from slamming into the wall.
With 25 minutes left, Manuel Lanzini slipped the ball back into the box, setting up Dany Ings for a tap-in goal to halve the deficit.
But after consulting the pitchside monitor, referee Michael Oliver determined that Mubama, a youthful striker, had handled the ball.
Moyes, the Hammers' manager, said, "Very unusual. The Premier League has publicly stated that it was a premeditated handball. We need some clarification on that, in my opinion.
"I would start by stating that it is inconclusive. If anything, I believe it strikes his collarbone and shoulder.
We all know the rule if a handball results in a goal, but I most definitely don't see purposeful. He might even be preventing himself from accepting the position. It's amazing that it was dismissed.
"Let's be honest, if this were the only incident we were discussing from recent games, I would think it could happen, but we're now talking about three of these.
"It's becoming routine. Really, it is. We've had three actual ones that could have changed the course of events. If you're saying we've had our fair share, I'm saying I don't think we have.
In actuality, had Ings' goal not been disallowed, Brentford, who had a lead thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa in the first half, could have been four or five ahead.
Despite not being mathematically safe from relegation, Moyes' interests are evidently elsewhere as the Hammers manager makes nine changes to his team for Thursday night's second leg of the Europa Conference League semifinal against AZ Alkmaar.
If Moyes had anticipated having some selection difficulties for the journey to the Netherlands, he was bitterly let down.
