There were 942 legitimate votes cast in the presidential election; 953 ballots were cast overall, and 11 ballots were returned.
After being delayed for an hour, voting was then interrupted by intermittent rain for over an hour, forcing the electoral officer in charge, Mr. Ayeh Apea, to mount the polling booths in one of the classrooms to continue until the rain ceased so that voting could fully resume.
Senior party members hailed the Domeabra-Obom primary as a success.
Mr. Yibor expressed gratitude to the delegates for their confidence in him and pledged to put out great effort to guarantee that the National Democratic Congress wins the 2024 election.
In an interview with the constituency chairman, Mr. Moses K. Ocancey, he offered his congratulations to the victor and thanked the delegates for their patience and excellent behavior before, during, and after the vote.
He instructed them to strive even harder to achieve their party's triumph in 2024 since, as he stated, this is just the beginning.
He spoke of the election's success and calmness, and he credited it to the party members' education on the procedure.
According to him, a set of guidelines was made available to all applicants who agreed to follow them.
