Roberto De Zerbi said that Moises Caicedo and Alexis MacAllister could leave Brighton this summer.

Following Julio Enciso's goal against Arsenal, Moises Caicedo responded forcefully to the teenager on social media.

Enciso, 19, scored the game's first goal in the 3-0 victory on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, thereby ending Mikel Arteta's chances of winning the league this year. Enciso nodded in for Brighton after a first half in which little separated the teams, and then the Gunners lost their composure.

Arsenal made mistakes that cost them the game as they tried to salvage something from it, and Deniz Undav and Pervis Estupinan added two more goals to secure the victory. However, Roberto De Zerbi provided the home supporters with a glimmer of hope following the game.

We will undoubtedly lose several players; perhaps Caicedo or Mac Allister," he remarked. "We must be ready to add more talented players, and as for Mitoma and Estupinan, I believe that staying with us is their best option. I'm not sure if they're prepared to play for big teams; you can define "play in a big team" better than I can.

Caicedo, who Arsenal pursued vigorously with a series of offers in January, committed himself to the south coast side until 2027, although both Chelsea and Arsenal are still paying close attention to him. However, there are still four games left for him to play before a decision is made.

With games still to play against Newcastle, Southampton, Manchester City, and Aston Villa, the Seagulls still have a slim chance of finishing in the top four. Caicedo also appears to be entirely committed to the task at hand.

"[Translated] I'm so happy together we can do it. Let's go with a lot of FAITH. Thank you, my God Fé," Enciso wrote on Instagram after the incident. [Prayer emoji]" Caicedo answered with his own encouraging statement.

"Good job, you. I'm delighted for you," he said. "Keep going" (with a clapping and a fire emoji).

Arsenal is anticipated to make a second bid for Caicedo in the summer as they plan a busy window to get ready for the upcoming season and the increased pressure and expectations that come with playing in the Champions League.
