The Chairman of John Dramani Mahama's campaign, ProfessorJoshua Alabi, has commendedthe Democratic National Congress for the peace of the presidency and the House of Assembly and asked the party to focus on the 2024 general elections. On Saturday, May 13, 2023, the party nominatedPresident John Mahama as the flag bearer for the 2024 election after winning a landslide victory. John Mahama collected 297,603 (98.9%) of the total valid votes while Kojo Bonsu managed to get 3,181 votes (1.1%). In a statement, Professor Alabi said: “Now that the primary is over, our next target is Victory 2024. In light of the general election, I would like to stress the importance of staying united and focused. We have made great progress, but there is still work to be done.
