Do you want to see a Formula One car donut?
The Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2023, which runs from July 13 to July 16, will host four Formula 1 teams. It follows the English Excellent Prix, which happens at the end of the prior week, making it simpler for groups to move their vehicles 130 miles down the A34 to drive up the Duke of Richmond's carport.
Williams Racing, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Team, and McLaren Formula 1 Team have all been confirmed to attend the 30th festival. It is frustrating that Red Bull isn't on this list, particularly since it's nearer to Goodwood than some other groups. Given Checko's new execution on road circuits, Verstappen might be a bit terrified...
There will be a dedicated F1 pit path where individuals and people in general can get very close with these brilliant machines, meet a few designers, and take selfies with the drivers. There will also be an educational component to the pit lane. Youngsters and school kids intrigued by STEM (Science, Innovation, Designing, and Math) can get a look at the background of a motorsport group.
The Formula 1 drivers who will be there haven't been announced yet, but the next Grand Prix is in Hungary a week later, which is only two hours away by plane. Given that the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2023 will be celebrating 75 years of motorsport, we see no reason why any driver could not attend. We are aware that motorsport has a much longer history than 75 years, with the first Monaco Grand Prix occurring in 1929.
On the other hand, non-championship Formula 1 racing took place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, which opened in 1948. The motor circuit was also used by local teams for testing. Strangely, Silverstone additionally opened its entryways without precedent in 1948, so we'll allow the Brits to have their 75th commemoration.
Goodwood isn't simply observing F1, nonetheless. All motorsports, including endurance racing and the 100th running of Le Mans later this year, will be honored during the celebration.
Goodwood The Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2023 will also honor the mission of motorsport to go green and the future of the sport. We don't think it's a coincidence that Porsche will be the central feature of the 2023 festival; both the Mission H24 hydrogen-powered racer known as the LMPH2G and Mahindra's Formula E vehicle will be present.
No other brand has done as much to ensure the future of internal combustion vehicles, and you can be sure that the Germans will use the synthetic fuel they helped develop to power every combustion vehicle up the hill. We can't wait to hear how loud the brand-new 718 Spyder RS sounds.
"As we shift focus over to the following 75 years of motorsport at Goodwood, the fate of Equation 1 will have a major impact on our narrative as we as a whole hope to save the energy of the game yet additionally enter the following period of development and the job of elective powers," the Duke of Richmond said.
