Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku said
 the Ghana Football Academy will be a good platform for ex-football playersto contribute to the development of the game.

On
 Tuesday, May 16, the GFAlaunched this project which aims to help individuals build their capacity and contribute to the development of football in Ghana. Recently, former BlackStars players called on the teamto contribute to the success of the game as they believe they have a lot to offer.


Speaking at the school's launch,Kurt said it would be a great opportunity for these people to get involved in the football environment. "The Ghana Football Academy will give everyone the opportunity to learn good skills. Speaking of that, it is the best chance andopportunity we can create for our first runners who have a lot to offer will offer compared to what they are offering now," he said. The project will see a linkbetween the Football Association and several educational institutions to deliver the training.

He added, “The
 Ghana Football Academy will work with all the agencies to see how we can help our players reach the right level so that they aspire to have a career path beyond what they have and football game." Some institutions that should be involved in this include: UPSA, University of Ghana, KNUST, GIMPA; in China, EuropeanBusiness School of Africa.
