The GFA has partnered with several educational institutions to launch the Ghana Football Academy 


The Ghana Football Association on Tuesday May 16 inaugurated the Ghana Football Academy at the association'sheadquarters in Accra.

The introduction of the GFA school is one of the ways that the group is promoting capacity building in the football environment, one of the challenges identified when they started work. The school should provide the necessary training for those who serve in different clubs in different rolesto ensure the progress of their group and progress in their fieldof work.

According to GFA PresidentKurt Okraku, there will be collaboration with various educational institutions in Ghana to ensure that those who want to work in groups receivethe formal and practical education necessary to pursue them. . The GFA has partnered with several educationalinstitutions to launch the Ghana Football Academy 
"Many of us are trained without practical experience, that is what
 Ghana Football School is. We are with schools that already offer football courses, but we will provide useful content for these institutions . For companies that do not manage any, we willalso provide content and together we can organize those trainings," he said at the beginning.

He added that the certification obtained from these institutions would be the only certification of the organization's licensing authority if one wants to dosuch work in the football environment. Some schools that should be involved in this include; UPSA, University of Ghana, KNUST, GIMPA inChina, European Business School of Africa.
