TRAIL TURN ASSIST DAMAGES REJECTED UNDER WARRANTY FOR FORD BRONCO OWNERS

Ford is allegedly denying warranty claims, and there are multiple reports of similar damages.

Although the Ford Bronco is one of the most capable off-road vehicles available, it is not perfect. The SUV has been tormented with flaws over the past couple of months, and it appears that another issue has shown up to wreak havoc.

Horse drivers have posted objections on the Bronco6G discussion, giving alerts about the Path Turn Help capability. The issue is with the plug welds on the rear axle assembly. In April, a 22-year-old Bronco owner discovered that the plug welds on the axle tubes were missing, revealing the first issue. Baja_bronco, the owner, writes that it is troubling that a Ford dealership has reportedly stated that it will not cover the repair "because I took it off-road."

Ford Bronco Forward View for 2021 and 2023 According to Ford's warranty literature, "The vehicle's warranty is not voided by using it as described in the Owner's Manual > Driving Hints/Four-Wheel Drive."

So what is causing this issue? Owners who have been affected think it might be the Trail Turn Assist. Owners can maneuver the Bronco in difficult or congested areas thanks to this system. By using the brakes to stop the inner rear wheel from turning around this fixed pivot point, the system reduces the turning radius. The vehicle can perform low-speed, high-steering-angle turns thanks to this.

One proprietor accepts that the Mustang's back axles just aren't sufficiently able to deal with this component. " "Unless you brace the axle tubes and pumpkin, the rear axles are not designed well enough to handle Trail Turn Assist with these rear axles," a user wrote.

"The axle tubes aren't welded properly from the factory to handle the force of the inner tire braking while activating Trail Turn Assist in our vehicles," Ford stated in the front view of the 2021–2023 Ford Bronco. While it brakes the inner tire, you're literally putting a lot of pressure on the axle tubes," they continued.

The second owner's warranty, like that of the first, is said to not cover the repair. The vehicle in question has aftermarket parts installed, and the dealer allegedly won't even send the warranty claim to Blue Oval, according to reports. Clearly, this is exceptionally disappointing, yet there's still too little proof to make this a difficult issue; until further notice, only two proprietors have voiced worries over this issue.

Ford Bronco Front-End Bumper Ford Trail Turn Assist may put some strain on the rear axle, and vehicles with bad plug welds may feel the extra forces. The Broncos in question may have been modified in some way, such as by installing aftermarket suspension or wheels. Manufacturers may deny warranty claims for modified vehicles, so that could be the case.

We have contacted Ford for comment and will update the article as soon as we hear back.

The Mustang has experienced a few quality issues previously. An owner was dissatisfied last year when his brand-new vehicle was delivered with paint flaws and scratches. A few reviews were given for the horse in the previous year, including directing lock-up issues, broken reinforcement cameras, and wheel separation concerns.
