A Saudi player has paid tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring a goal that could help the Portuguese star win more silverware.
Ronaldo has been plying his business in Saudi Arabia since the start of the year, following his controversial departure from Manchester United.
United and Ronaldo split after the star gave an interview to Piers Morgan in which he criticized coach Erik ten Hag.
After the World Cup, he joined Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr, signing an all-time record deal worth £177m-a-year.

Many fans - perhaps rightly - were expecting Ronaldo to tour the Saudi League, the 58th strongest league in the world. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has enjoyed a successful half-season, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists in 14 league appearances.
However, Ronaldo's arrival did not inspire his new club towards the Saudi title.

Al Nassr is currently second in the rankings, 3 points behind the leader Al Ittihad with 3 matches left.
Al Nassr have won just 2 of their last 5 games, and the deficit would have been even bigger had their title contenders not been thwarted by a late goal on Tuesday.
Al Hilal, 18-time and league champion over the past two seasons, saved a 2-2 draw with Al Ittihad with a 94th-minute goal from Brazilian striker Michael. Advertisement
The 27-year-old's goal sent the league leaders to their deaths, preventing them from nearly completing the championship with three games left.
Ronaldo would certainly be happy to still have the chance to end the season with a medal around his neck, but that's not all.
Celebrating his late goal, Michael swooped down and performed Ronaldo's signature celebration, leaping into the air, turning and landing with his arms outstretched.
It's unclear if he shouted "Siuuuu" or not, but either way, the celebration certainly served such an important purpose.

If Al Nassr wins the title and Ronaldo lifts the trophy, he will remember the fans he has to thank.
