The reigning European champions were forced to wait in the Manchester Airport's arrivals area for more than 30 minutes on Tuesday.
When Real Madrid arrived at the Etihad Stadium for their Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City, they were in a relaxed mood despite an airport delay.
The European champions were delayed by their team bus, which was unable to pick them up on schedule, for more than 30 minutes in the arrivals area of Manchester Airport on Tuesday.
In spite of this, Carlo Ancelotti's team was quickly driven to the stadium where they had been practicing in preparation for the match on Wednesday. This match will start on a razor's edge following a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Bernabeu last week.
At the pre-game press conference, manager Carlo Ancelotti stated: "I am very calm, full of optimism, and full of faith.
"On game day, tomorrow, you start to worry about whether (Erling) Haaland will score or whether (Kevin) De Bruyne) will injure you.
But I make an effort to forget about it. The key is controlling your thoughts.
"We are pleased to be here and in excellent spirits. Being in a semi-final is something we frequently experience.
11 out of 13 years have been in the semifinals. That is difficult. While we can, we enjoy it.
City may have the home edge, but as the current holders and 14-time European winners, Real are more than capable of winning these games.
The title has been won by Ancelotti twice with Real Madrid and again with AC Milan. He said: "It's important for Real Madrid because of our history in the competition.
"It became significant for players and fans in the 1950s. Everything you work for is it. Attempting to win European trophies, especially the European Cup, is something exceptional.
They have valued it throughout their history. It is a club with a unique ability to survive.
