The Ivorian, who was originally obtained on loan from Sassuolo, has agreed to a five-year contract.
Midfielder Hamed Traore, who had been on loan from Sassuolo, has now officially signed with Bournemouth.
On the final day of the January transfer window, the Ivory Coast international transferred from the Serie A side, originally signing a six-month deal with an option for a five-year term.
Due to injury, the 23-year-old has only appeared three times in the Premier League while Gary O'Neil's team has successfully earned survival.
He has committed to staying at the Vitality Stadium through the year 2028 after playing 140 times for Sassuolo and Empoli in Italy's top division.

Everyone has been really nice to me, Traore said on the club website. I'm content to be here and everything is nice.
"I've been injured a few times, so I'm looking forward to next season, but right now I'm working hard in the hopes of returning before the end and helping the team."
"We've been really impressed by Hamed since his arrival in January, and we're delighted to have him with us for the long term," said chief executive Neill Blake.
"He has demonstrated that he is already capable of functioning admirably at the highest level, and we are eager to watch him grow even more.
"The permanent signing of Hamed is another indication of our aspirations for the future, building on the success of this campaign to compete once more in the Premier League," the club stated.
Even though they lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park over the weekend, Bournemouth has already secured their spot in the top tier for the upcoming year.
After an initial loan period, Bournemouth makes Hamed Traore's move permanent.
