The Progressive People's Party (PPP) is prepared to run in and win the 2024 general election, according to Nana Ofori Owusu, the party's national chairman.

He said that as the sole viable alternative political party, his group was aiming to win the support of voters and create the next government in 2025.

Nana Owusu promised that the party will soon announce dates for the election of its executives from the constituency through the region to the national level in an interview with the Daily Graphic.

Activities

After that, he declared that the presidential and legislative elections would be held prior to the 2024 general election.

The registration of all party members is nearly finished, according to the PPP National Chairman.

"We, therefore, urge the general public interested in changing the way the country is run to join the PPP by registering through our digital platforms, such as our WhatsApp number, 0503517348," he added. "Alternatively, you can visit any of our offices nearby for registration."

He praised the party's membership campaign and expressed the hope that many more people will sign up to join.

Policies

According to Nana Owusu, the party has the best alternate policies and solutions to address the nation's present economic problems and improve the welfare of all citizens.

He urged Ghanaians to look only to the PPP in order to end the dominance of the two main political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which have had the chance to lead this nation but have failed to maximize its natural resources for the benefit of its people.

Nana Owusu asked Ghanaians to support the PPP because it is the only option that can revitalize the economy for the good of all Ghanaians, not just a wealthy few.

"It is our responsibility as citizens to strive towards choosing the finest officials to guide this nation's affairs towards growth.

In order to realize our objective of succeeding in the 2024 elections as an alternative political party, it is also our common obligation to face the difficulties, according to the PPP National Chairman.
