German manager Thomas Tuchel, who replaced Frank Lampard in January before helping the Blues win their second European title, has secured a lucrative contract extension with the west London side.

Tuchel has been a find since arriving at Stamford Bridge with the German taking over from his former manager's squad.

Chelsea's unimaginable Champions League triumph has yet to subside, but Thomas Tuchel's meticulous mind is on display next season.

Now, Tuchel's task ahead is to polish his European champions as he aims to present a multi-front legitimacy challenge next season. They do not need many additions, but smart recruitment will shape the fate of the club in 2021/22; a full-back, a central midfielder and a striker are said to be on his shopping list. According to The Telegraph, Tuchel could receive up to £200m to strengthen the squad this summer. The former head coach of Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain is said to have told Abramovich he wants to build an empire at Chelsea.

Having the two top priority players at the moment, Haaland and Hakimi, means that some players will have to watch from the bench. Chelsea will stick to a 3-4-2-1 formation with Jorginho as the Blues' full-time captain.

With this squad, Chelsea will be the favorites to win the Premier League, FA Cup and even the Champions League. Here's what the range will look like.
