Firmino, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain & Keïta to leave Liverpool at end of season

Liverpool Football Club has officially announced that four players will be leaving the club at the end of the season, with Roberto Firmino and James Milner being among those bidding farewell to Anfield. In addition to Firmino and Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keïta will also be departing.

The departure of Firmino has been anticipated for some time, as reports about his potential exit first emerged in March during discussions regarding a contract extension. Despite not being fit to play, the Brazilian forward received a warm reception from the Liverpool supporters during Monday's victory against Leicester City. Firmino has been an integral part of the team and will be fondly remembered by the fans.

Milner, the vice-captain of Liverpool, will also bring an end to his association with the club this summer. Having joined in 2015, Milner has been linked with a move to Brighton as Liverpool prepares for a major rebuilding phase after a disappointing season. His departure marks the conclusion of a successful stint at Anfield, during which he contributed greatly both on and off the field.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keïta, who have spent six and five years at Liverpool respectively, will also be leaving. Their time at the club has been marred by injuries, limiting their impact on the pitch. However, they have played their part in the team's journey during their tenure.

All four players will have the opportunity to bid farewell to the Liverpool faithful during the team's final home game at Anfield against Aston Villa on Saturday. Despite a challenging season, Liverpool still has a chance to secure a place in the top four.

The news of these departures may not come as a surprise to the fans, but it is undoubtedly accompanied by a sense of sadness, especially regarding Firmino. The Brazilian striker has become a legend at Liverpool and will be remembered as such. Similarly, Milner has served the club admirably and will receive a deserving farewell from the supporters on Saturday.

As Liverpool looks ahead to the future and aims to rebuild, these departures mark the end of an era for the club. The fans will undoubtedly cherish the memories and contributions of these players and wish them well in their future endeavors.
