"Stupid" country with weak judges: Barke-Vormawor reacts to man jailed for insulting Akufo-Addo

Oliver Barker-Vormawor, CEOof the 'Fix the Country Movement'

Oliver Barker-Vormawor, the co-ordinator of the 'Fix the Country Movement', has criticized a judge who ordered the pre-trial detention of a teenager in a viral video for insulting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The man, dubbed Oko Obobo, was caught in a viral video along with others complaining about their wealth, expressing their pain, insulting the presidentand threatening to vote against his party. and the upcoming general election in 2024. According to Barker Vomowor, the Circuit Court of Accra firedthe man because his life would be in danger in the city for insulting the president, so the police station would prefer him.

However, the decision was not well received by the introduced leader, who described the caseas “pure waste of ideas and abuse of power.

He went on to question the integrity of the judge, asking what kind of lawyers would eventually become judges in the country. "What kind of lawyers end up being judges in this country, kraaa?"

Barker-Vormawor went on to say, "Do you think that thepolice station is convenient forhotels? What nonsense, a small weak nation and weak men likejudges, lawyers and chair?"
