After posting a video of himself on Instagram making his first-ever hole-in-one at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in California, Gareth Bale once again dazzled with his incredible golfing prowess.

The former Real Madrid attacker is well-known for stirring up controversy when he posed for a photo holding a banner that read, "Wales, Golf, Marid." In that order', is well renowned for his passion for the game and appears to have been playing frequently ever since he gave up football in January.

Mail Sport claimed earlier this month that Wrexham owner Rob McElhenney has been attempting to persuade the 33-year-old to come out of retirement by urging him to 'do the right thing' and play for the newly promoted team in his native country.

In an effort to convince the former Tottenham winger to join their team, the American had even persuaded Bale, who scored 40 goals in 111 games for Wales, to play a round of golf with him and co-owner Ryan Reynolds.

Since his agent has suggested he doesn't want to play football anymore, Bale has informed the Wrexham management that they cannot coax him out of retirement. Instead, it appears he is devoting more time to his golf swing after hitting his first-ever ace on the third hole at Torrey Pines.

The former Galactico, in an Instagram video, approaches the ball on the downhill, 195-yard (championship tees) par three after taking a practice swing.

He says, "This is such a hard shot," as he steps up to the shoot.

By adding, "Hole-in-one time, never had one, this is the hole to do it," the cameraman also predicts the future.

However, the former Tottenham striker appears to make it look simple by sending his shot over the bunker that guards the front left of the two-tiered sloping green and into what appears to be a hole.

When the former football player realizes what he has accomplished, he celebrates by sprinting in front of the camera and climbing the elevated tee-box while jumping with joy.

God, he's got it! This is a timeless video! Wow," the cameraman exclaims with enthusiasm.

He continues, "Gareth Bale, he doesn't just do bicycle kicks."

The former Wales international has already impressed us with his golfing abilities.

In a very incredible display of technique, Bale very nearly chipped in from a cart path at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, placing the ball just a few feet from the hole.

Even 2023 Masters champion and No. 1 golfer in the world Jon Rahm was astounded by the Welshman's performance at the competition.

In an interview with Marca, Rahm said, "I told Gareth you just can't be so good at professional football and golf at the same time, it just doesn't seem fair."

You can't have this much talent for golf and be that committed to one thing; it's not fair at all. But he hopes to retire soon because he adores golf and this sport.

He really wants to play a little bit more, so hopefully I'll see him at the Pro-Am more frequently in the future.

Rahm's hole-in-one was made more sweeter by the fact that Torrey Pines is regarded as one of the most challenging layouts on the PGA Tour and that it hosted the US Open in 2021, the same year Rahm won his first major title.
