In order to thank the long-serving choir master and organist, Ebo Philip Ainoo-Ansah, who has worked for the church for the last 42 years and has helped the choir win several awards and competitions, the Freeman Methodist Church in Obuasi Tutuka in the Ashanti Region has prepared a special church service.

The Very Rev. Isaac K. Yeboah, the superintendent minister of the Methodist Church in Tutuka Circuit, who gave the citation, praised Mr. Ainoo-Ansah for being a capable choir leader whose commitment to duty had a positive influence on the establishment of various Methodist Church choirs and singing bands in the Tutuka circuit.

He said that Mr. Ainoo-Ansah was a servant leader who, via songs and hymns, taught God's word to gain new souls and inspired current church members to keep up their adherence to the Bible.

He also rose to the position of diocesan and circuit director of music. Many people were trained beneath your feet by his revolutionary and altruistic leadership style," he remarked.

Rev. Isaac K. Yeboah remarked that Mr. Ainoo-Ansah, who was also the creator of a well-known photography studio in the Obuasi Municipality, educated other photographers, some of whom were running their production facilities all over the nation.

The citation said, "In recognition of your selfless dedication and contributions towards the growth, development, and advancement of Freeman society, in terms of music, the Lay Movement Council and, for that matter, the Methodist Church, Tutuka Circuit presents to you."

It said that Mr. Ainoo-Ansah was a symbol of Freeman society and that the laity was unable to assess his significance.

His contributions and his sterling work should be recorded in the diocese's archives for all time.

Freeman

He became a member of the Freeman Methodist Church in 1978, and as choirmaster and organist, he was a founding member of the Freeman Church Choir.

He also rose to the position of diocesan and circuit director of music. His transformative and altruistic leadership style allowed many people to take you under their wing.

David Andoh, Multimedia's award-winning photojournalist, was trained by Mr. Ainoo-Ansah, who founded a renowned photography studio in the Obuasi Municipality. Some of the photographers he trained now run their own production companies, while others work for media outlets.
