In Sankore, in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region, IBM Petroleum Limited has opened its first wholly-owned service station.
The facility expands the current countrywide network of 64 gasoline outlets.
The recently opened station has a large yard furnished with contemporary materials, a lube bay, and a mart that meets all requirements for vehicles.
The station is built with two pump islands, each with two nozzles for dispensing gasoline and diesel fuel, and is ideally situated to service clients in busy commercial districts and nearby neighborhoods.
Michael Owusu Asiedu, the managing director of IBM Petroleum Limited, expressed his happiness with the infrastructure during the official opening ceremony and emphasized the value of pursuing the company's goals and objectives.
"I am incredibly happy to see this wonderful dream realized in this area," he said. The company's concept served as a powerful source of inspiration for building such a cutting-edge service station in such a good position.
Mr. Michael Owusu Asiedu also advised members of the neighborhood and adjacent towns to use the gasoline station and benefit from the wide variety of services it provides.
Assuring clients that they are getting value for their money, IBM Petroleum Limited's marketing director, Prince Owusu Yeboah, emphasized the company's reputation for fair pricing and the supply of high-quality gasoline.
Prominent people, including the Krontihene of Sankore, Nana Ankra, Chief Linguist Nana Kwarteng, and the Police District Commander, attended the sod-cutting ceremony marking the start of sales.

The accomplishments of IBM Petroleum Limited have been acknowledged in the oil and gas sector. At the Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA) in Accra in 2022, it was recognized as the Best Growing Oil and Gas Company. As of November 2022, the company's market share had climbed to 1.80% from 1.12% in November 2020 and 1.41% in November 2021.
The NPA ranked IBM 16th among the top 10 performing OMCs in December 2021. The business is now ranked 10th as Ghana's finest oil marketing firm, having risen to the 11th slot by the second quarter of 2022.
