The Premier League is a highly competitive football league, and clubs must work hard to keep their place in the top tier. Out of the 72 clubs in the three levels below the Premier League, only a few have managed to stay in the top tier without getting demoted.

The clubs listed below have never been relegated in the history of the English Premier League.

Chelsea is number one.

Chelsea is a heavyweight in the Premier League, having won five titles. The team last won under Antonio Conte's leadership in the 2016-17 season. Chelsea was last demoted in 1987-88 before being promoted in 1988-89 . The club is one of just six clubs that have escaped relegation during the Premier League era.

Roman Abramovich purchased the club in 2003 and supplied much-needed funds, allowing it to achieve new heights under club legends such as Jose Mourinho, Didier Drogba, and Frank Lampard.

Spurs (Tottenham Hotspur)

Tottenham Hotspurs, a football club headquartered in London, was promoted to the first flight in 1978-79 and has remained there ever since. Despite not winning as many games as other clubs, they have always been formidable opponents in the League. The Spurs have never won a title, despite multiple close calls.

They did, however, finish runner-up in the Champions League in 2018-19, which is one of their most impressive achievements in the recent decade. Spurs has produced world-class players like as Harry Kane, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, and Son Heung-min.

Manchester United is third.
Manchester United, with 20 league titles and three European Championships, is often regarded as the most famous English club.

Despite a recent slump, they remain one of the most popular teams in history, producing countless stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Eric Cantona, Ryan Giggs, and David Beckham. They are extremely unlikely to be demoted from competition anytime soon.

four. Liverpool
Liverpool, another of England's Big Six clubs, has won one Premier League title and is second in all-time top-flight victories only to Manchester United.

They have also been a strong force in the Premier League and Europe, winning more European titles (UEFA Champions League) than any other English team.

Everton 5
Some may be surprised by Everton's presence on this list, but the club has a long history in English football.

Despite being regarded as a mid-table squad, they have won nine top-flight titles and have never been relegated. Their rivalry with Liverpool is one of the oldest in English football, and they finished 16th last season, just avoiding relegation.

Arsenal F.C.
Arsenal is the Premier League's oldest club, having been a member since the 1919-20 season. They have constantly been a top team, and they are the only team to win the League while going unbeaten in the regular season. Arsenal has a lengthy and illustrious Premier League history, with notable players such as Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, and Patrick Vieira. Despite being in a rebuilding phase, Arsenal's long-term prospects are bright.
