The contract Rashford is currently under expires in just one year.
Erik ten Hag is optimistic that Manchester United and Marcus Rashford can "find each other" in regards to the forward's contract issue.
Only one year is remaining on Rashford's contract with the team he has represented since he was seven years old.
The 25-year-old denied earlier this year's rumors that he was seeking £500,000 per week, but the dispute is still raging.
Despite the fact that it is taking time, Ten Hag maintains his composure in public, saying: "I don't talk about the procedure.
"Neither Rashy nor I find this to be essential at this time. For him, the goal this season is to score more goals. He is having a fantastic season, and the squad is also having a fantastic season.
"We need to concentrate on winning the Champions League. We both want Marcus to stay, so I believe we will eventually connect.
Concern regarding United's chances during the summer transfer window will unavoidably result from the uncertainties surrounding their takeover procedure.
Ten Hag stated: "We work hard and do our jobs in the background, but right now it's all about the games, qualifying for the Champions League, and the FA Cup.
"Finances and having the resources to act responsibly are important to me."
Prior to their maiden FA Cup final matchup against Manchester City, United's final three Premier League games will determine whether they will advance to the Champions League.
First up is a Saturday trip to Bournemouth, where United, who might be missing Rashford due to illness, will try to put their recent road problems behind them.
Eight of the Red Devils' nine league losses this year have been away from Old Trafford, and their last three outings away from the stadium have produced just one point combined.
Erik ten Hag is certain that Marcus Rashford and a new contract will be reached.
