There is a very good chance that this clash between Manchester City and Chelsea is where the Premier League title will be won for 2022/23. Pep Guardiola's side will already be the champions if Arsenal lose against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
If the Gunners win there, City can still clinch the title anyway by beating a Chelsea side which is simply desperate for the season to come to an end. Frank Lampard has made almost no impact and it is incredibly hard to picture them getting anything from this game.
The best that Chelsea can really hope for is 11th place, whilst City can defend their title.
Manchester City vs Chelsea: Predicted line-ups
There may well be some rotation from Guardiola given City were in Champions League action on Wednesday against Real Madrid, although they made very light work of that game. Nathan Ake is the only real absentee, whilst Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez could come in on the wings.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to come back into the team against City, but there are plenty of injuries such as Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Mason Mount and Marc Cucurella.
Manchester City's predicted line-up (3-2-4-1): Ederson; Walker, Dias, Akanji; Stones, Rodri; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Foden; Haaland.
Chelsea's predicted line-up (4-3-3): Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Silva, Fofana, Hall; Loftus-Cheek, Fernandez, Gallagher; Madueke, Felix, Sterling.
