Ghanaian women are only imperfect when they’re with the wrong men – Nana Aba Anamoah

Media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah says that there is no downside to being a Ghanaian woman.

For her, the country’s women only develop imperfection when they are with the wrong man.

Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, she mentioned that perfection does not require improvement, therefore, asking female partners to improve will be questionable.

“Ghanaian women are perfect, the only time you see any imperfection is when we’re with the wrong men. If you’re with a woman who is caring, what improvement are you looking for? What is your definition of more caring?” she quizzed.

“Because if you have a woman who is responsible and you say I need more responsibility what are you talking about?”

The award-winning journalist indicated that most women fall short in certain areas when their men are not putting in equal effort in that regard.

“It depends on the man in the relationship, if I’m supportive and you’re not supportive, you don’t expect me to be supportive forever, it stops at some point. You can’t eat your cake and have it, you can’t expect so much from someone when you’re giving nothing back.”

“You’re in a relationship with a man and the woman is just giving and giving and the man does nothing, the man is just comfortable with the woman giving everything and he’s not doing anything about it,” Nana Aba said this on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Nana Aba Anamoah is the creator of “Women in Valour”, a project which aims to inspire young girls, entrepreneurs and women across the world on the right steps to take to achieve greatness.

The Women of Valour is an event which seeks to bring together and highlight women with unique stories of courage in Africa and across the world to share their stories of triumph, loss and all there is to inspire women to greatness.

The event is expected to feature award-winning Nigerian actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde who will speak about her struggles and how she was able to dominate in the movie industry in Nigeria and across the world.

Also speaking at the conference is Julia Stuart, an award-winning presenter at Super Sports International in South Africa.

Eugenia Baffour Bankoh, a Ghanaian young social entrepreneur and women and children rights activist whose main focus is advocacy for gender-based violence will also speak at the event.

The maiden edition of the event will take place on March 7, 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra under the theme: “Untold stories of courage.”
