Harry Kane breaks Premier League record that Erling Haaland could still snatch off him as he scores incredible free-kick in what could be his final home game for Tottenham

Harry Kane scored a super free-kick in Tottenham's match against Brentford, breaking a record that Erling Haaland can still break this season.

Kane scored a super product to open the scoring

First player to score in 25 different PL games

Maybe a suitable swan song

WHAT HAPPENED? Kane took a superb free-kick, as he hit a shot into the top corner after Dejan Kulusevski was sent off, in what could be his last home game for the club. The goal means he has scored in 25 different Premier League matches, becoming the first player to do so. Meanwhile, Haaland has scored in 23 games this season, meaning he can still break his own record. That means he will score in Manchester City's remaining three games, against Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford, while Kane won't be able to score against Leeds on the final day.

Uncertainty continues to cloud Kane's future at Spurs. The England captain's contract expires at the end of next season and he has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, with PSG also said to be expressing an interest. Spurs finished their season at Elland Road against Leeds, meaning he could have scored a goal in his last home game at the club, should he decide to leave.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR KANE? He will have a decision on his future this summer, but Spurs must first complete their season with a game against Leeds next weekend.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Baba Rahman are not in Mauricio Pochettino's plans for next season

In a surprising turn of events, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Baba Rahman find themselves on the fringes of Stamford Bridge's future as new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino begins to strategize for next season.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, defender Baba Rahman and winger Callum Hudson-Odoi were on Pochettino's starting list as the Premier League campaign came to an end.

The report says the London-based club plans to fund some of its market purchases with these releases or enter into mutually beneficial swaps.

On 16 August 2015, Baba Rahman signed an undisclosed five-year contract for Chelsea for an initial fee of £14 million, rising to a potential fee of almost £22 million. He was loaned to Schalke 04, Reims, Mallorca, PAOK and Reading (twice). Callum Hudson-Odoi plays as a winger for German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen on loan from Premier League side Chelsea.

Hudson-Odoi joined Chelsea in 2007 and made his U18 debut in August 2016. He scored eight goals in 25 appearances in his first season, helping the Under-18s win the FA Youth Cup for the eighth time. On 28 January 2018, Hudson-Odoi made his first-team debut in an FA Cup match against Newcastle United.
