Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Edouard Mendy from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Sun reports that Tottenham Hotspur scouts have been keeping a close eye on Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy "for a while".
Reports suggest that Tottenham want Mendy to replace their number one goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
According to the report, Mendy "rejected a six-year contract and disagreed on terms with new Blues chairman Todd Boehly".
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur
In our opinion, Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window. We think the 31-year-old will be a safe choice for Spurs.

Now Hugo Lloris has played wonderfully for Tottenham over the years and also won the World Cup with France.
However, Lloris is past her prime and is no longer young.
Mendy, who earns £55,000 a week (Spotrac), hasn't always played regularly for Chelsea but is currently at his peak at the age of 31.
The Senegal player has a lot of experience playing in the Premier League. However, there are two factors that can affect transferability.
Mendy may not want to join a Tottenham team that may not even play in the UEFA Europa League next season.
And the goalkeeper will be well aware of the rivalry that exists between Chelsea and Tottenham.

Liverpool have just one game left in their Premier League season after today's game against Aston Villa
Cody Gakpo's goal against Aston Villa was disallowed because Virgil van Dijk was offside in a match-fixing situation.
Liverpool thought they had leveled against Unai Emery's men early in the second half when the Dutchman shot from close range, only for VAR to intervene and decide the goal was disallowed.
Taken back to the side yard monitor to check the incident for the possibility of offside, Brooks accepted the proposed move and decided that the strike would not be carried out.
ECHO understands this to be because officials believe Van Dijk was offside following Luis Diaz's header in the box, with Ezri Konsa's subsequent collision considered a shot rather than intentional.
The move only added to frustration inside Anfield after Villa defender Tyrone Mings avoided a red card for a high-footed challenge against Gakpo. VAR also replayed the moment during the game, although the end result was Brooks getting a yellow card on the field.
