The five-time Ballon d'Or winner posted a picture of himself soaking up the Saudi sunshine in just a pair of his sponsor's underwear on Saturday morning. The poolside snap raced to over four million likes in almost no time at all. Even at the latter end of a glittering playing career, Ronaldo's social media game remains remarkable.

With a following of 584 million on Instagram and 108 million on Twitter, the Portuguese star continues to have unprecedented pulling power, even in light of a brief setback when his blue tick was briefly taken off him as part of Elon Musk's legacy purge.

Having soaked up some sunshine, Ronaldo will be getting his kit back on when his Al-Nassr side resume their title pursuit against third-placed Al-Shabab on Tuesday.

Spurs fans rave over Kane's "poetic" goal in possibly his final home match.

Tottenham Hotspur fans were left raving over Harry Kane's opening goal against Brentford on Saturday.

Kane opened the scoring for Spurs in their crunch encounter at home to Brentford as their European hopes hang in the balance.

Spurs started the weekend in 7th place and need a win to climb to 6th place before the rest of the league is in action.

Tottenham's hero on countless occasions got Ryan Mason's side off to the perfect start just eight minutes in as he whipped the ball home from more than 25 yards out to net his 28th league goal of the season.

Dejan Kulusevski and Kane stood over the free-kick before the Swede rolled the ball to the right, allowing Kane to bend the ball into the top corner around the wall, leaving David Raya helpless.

Kane has been the center of transfer rumors yet again, with the 29-year-old linked most prominently to Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

The poignant goal brought plenty of reaction from Tottenham fans on Twitter who may have witnessed Kane's final goal in a Tottenham shirt in front of a home crowd.

One account tweeted: "Harry Kane scoring a miraculous goal whilst his name is being adoringly serenaded around the ground, in what could well be his last home game for the club, is utterly poetic. Wow."

A second comment read: "Had a similar feel as the Bale goal against Sunderland on his last game. You know it's coming."

What club do you think Kane will be playing for next season? Let us know in the comments section.

Another questioned how Kane would have matched up to Erling Haaland's record-breaking season if the Englishman had moved to Manchester City instead, saying: "Harry Kane being on 28 goals in that Spurs team is mad! Makes you wonder, would he be matching Haaland numbers in the City squad?"

Kane's goal gave Spurs the lead at halftime as they look to hold off Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa's pursuit of a European spot in either the Europa League or the Conference League.

It also saw Kane break another record after becoming Tottenham's all-time top goalscorer earlier this year, as he became the first player to score in 25 different Premier League matches in a 38-game season.
