Gary Neville has defended the predictions he made before the start of the Premier League season, although some of them turned out to be incorrect.
Last summer, Neville - along with Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane, Jamie Redknapp and Micah Richards - sat down and made predictions.
The former Premier League stars have covered a variety of topics including who will win the title, who will break into the top two, who will be relegated and how Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo saga will end.
All experts are right about some things - and some very, very wrong - and Neville has defended his appeal.

Responding to a Twitter user who questioned his prediction, Neville said:
"They're actually pretty accurate."
So what exactly has the former United full-back predicted will happen this season? To be fair to Neville, it looks like he won his title.

The 48-year-old has backed Manchester City to win their fifth Premier League title in six seasons, which they would have if they beat Chelsea on Sunday or Arsenal lost to Nottingham Forest on Saturday night.
However, he backed Liverpool to a second-place finish, with Spurs pushing the top two and finishing third.
"Spurs are the only ones that can do that, but something has to happen with Liverpool and City for that to happen," he said.
Liverpool are currently fifth in the table while Spurs are seventh. At least he didn't rock Jurgen Klopp's side to win trophies like Carragher did...

On the matter of relegation, Neville predicts Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Bournemouth - the three teams that have been promoted to the Premier League - will drop straight back to the Championship.
“The reason I say that is because real money inequality is pushing it more in that direction [down] all the time,” he said.
While Neville can claim to have foreseen Chelsea's disastrous campaign - "It looks tough, something is amiss" - his views on the Cristiano Ronaldo case are far from accurate.

When the pundits made their predictions in August, Ronaldo made a splash after United faced a season without a Champions League kick. Neville called for his former teammate to 'stable' and insisted he has the power, strength and status to influence games and the dressing room.
Carragher has the opposite view, advising United to get rid of this superstar.
"You can accept that if he is one of the best players in the world - I don't think he is right now," said the former Liverpool defender.

A few months later, Ronaldo left United after criticizing coach Erik ten Hag in a revealing interview with Piers Morgan.
