Emma Hayes, the manager of Chelsea, has stated that she will not be watching the Women's Super League championship game on Sunday between her team and Manchester City.
Champions Chelsea are two points ahead of second-placed Manchester United with two rounds of games remaining as they prepare to face Arsenal at Kingsmeadow at noon.
If the Blues triumph, and United loses to Manchester City in their early-evening match at Leigh Sports Village, Hayes' squad will have won the WSL for the fourth straight season in addition to winning the FA Cup the previous weekend.
In response to a question about whether she would be watching the derby, Hayes stated in a press conference: "I promised (to her son) I'll take you out Sunday afternoon, new bike, and I'll take him and his cousins for a spin around north London.
He'll arrive first on Sunday afternoon. Of course, someone will let me know, but I can almost guarantee that I won't be sitting down and watching it at home. Evenings are nicer and lighter, so I won't be.
In light of the fact that "the hardest part is the games accumulation," Hayes, who watched Chelsea go into first place with Wednesday's 4-0 victory at West Ham, added of Sunday: "We have to be really polite.
"We don't have any victories. We need to play.
In the battle for the top three spots in the Champions League, the Gunners are third in the table, three points behind United and three points ahead of fourth-placed City.
"We play against a very strong Chelsea side and know we have to be at our best," stated manager Jonas Eidevall. Perhaps our season's greatest effort to achieve the desired outcome.
Lia Walti, a Switzerland international who was injured during Wednesday's 4-1 victory at Everton, will miss the rest of the season but should be able to make a full recovery in time for the World Cup, according to Eidevall.
The match against City, according to United manager Marc Skinner, is "a heavyweight contest - one big punch and the other can be knocked out."
