Manchester City are constantly accused of sliding to win, but one fan pointed out that's not quite the case.
Pep Guardiola City's side are three wins away from completing the most successful season in the club's 129-year history.
City will win their fifth Premier League title in six years if they beat Chelsea on Sunday and have a chance to add the FA Cup to their trophy cabinet when they face Manchester United in the final at Wembley.
Their final game of the season will be the Champions League final against Internazionale, where they will have a chance to win the tournament for the first time and win the treble.

No one can deny City's excellence this season - aside from a difficult period in January, Guardiola's side played incredible football, as evidenced by the 4-0 thrashing of Real Madrid. on Wednesday. However, opposition fans and many media outlets still put an asterisk on City's achievements due to the amount of money they have spent on transfers and salaries in recent years.
Another issue is the more than 100 allegations of financial misconduct brought by the Premier League against the club.

Even if the City is acquitted by an independent panel, opponents will still say they can't compare the City's spending.
One City fan pointed out that simply isn't true.
Twitter user @BlueCityBrain created a chart measuring the team's annual expenses in 2022. The formula he uses is to add salary costs to transfer depreciation (player's transfer fee divided by the length of the contract.)

One of the best ways to measure a team's annual expenses is to look at payroll and transfer depreciation. But if you listen to the likes of Miguel Delayney, he will make you believe that City spent the game at a distance and for that

"The reality is City wasn't even among the top 4 spenders in Europe in the last accounting period," the tweet from @BlueCityBrain read.
"Man City have been overtaken by Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea and only beat Liverpool by a bit. Last season City were knocked out [from the Champions League] by a team that spent more than them [Madrid]. "
When wages are included in transfer depreciation, City's squad cost in 2022 is £495m, Chelsea's £501m, United's £534m, £544m from Real Madrid and £742m from Real Madrid.
"PSG is also a perfect example of a team that has spent £200m more than the entire tournament and has not even reached the semi-finals of the Champions League."
Instead of criticizing Man City, fans say the club should be congratulated. "The only credit should go to this group of players, including a young striker of the generation making their mark in world football and a coach who could become the greatest coach of all time."
