Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta has fired a warning at Manchester City.

Inter will meet City in the final of the Champions League in Istanbul.

Marotta said, "With Manchester City, we will play to the end.

"We are honored to have reached this far; now we will play it all the way, and we will be very proud."

City manager Pep Guardiola has said it's never easy to face an Italian team, and Marotta added, "That's right, we'll give him a hard time."

What Daniel Levy's wife did as Spurs owner embarrassed her amid protests during Brentford's defeat.

Tottenham Hotspur were defeated 3-1 by Brentford despite taking the lead through Harry Kane's effort, with supporters venting their frustrations at the club's ownership group and Daniel Levy.

Tottenham Hotspur's season went from bad to worse as they suffered a 3-1 home defeat against Brentford, with supporters continuing to protest further against Chairman Daniel Levy.

Despite going ahead early through a stunning Harry Kane effort from range, Spurs' season was epitomized by a severely underwhelming second-half collapse.

Bryan Mbuemo's well-taken double saw the Bees recover to go ahead before Yoane Wissa put the result beyond doubt just two minutes from time.

Significant boos from the home fans were heard at full-time, with Spurs potentially dropping out of the top seven if Aston Villa beat Liverpool at Anfield.

Equally loud, however, were chants aimed at the club's ownership group, ENIC, and Levy himself. Such is the extent of anger that balloons with 'Levy out' written on them were seen on the pitch during the game.

In what was a painfully toxic atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Levy could be seen being consoled by his wife, Tracy Dixon, as the game drew to a close.

The 61-year-old faces, arguably, his most important summer in charge of Spurs, with a sizeable squad overhaul required once a new manager and director of football have been appointed.

Pre-match Levy wrote in his program notes: "We shall spend the period ahead of next season working relentlessly to position our club for on-pitch success and football you will love to come and watch. Every element of the club's operations is geared toward delivering that."
