Anas Rebels Despite Well-Funded Public Plots Against Us- Tiger Eyes
Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his firm Tiger Eye Private Investigations have claimed that thegovernment and secret services are colluding against the company, but they are not involved.
Anas this week decided to withdraw from giving evidencein the case against Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyifollowing the recent judgment of the High Court in Accra. Thecourt has allowed Anas to testify in open court with a veil, provided that he first reveals his face to the accused in court.
But a statement issued by Tiger Eye on the evening of the "revelation" of his face in the room explained the risks involved and why Anas was willing to err on the side of caution. Part of the affidavitalleging conspiracy against Tiger Eye reads: "Tiger Eye's situation is furthered by relentless, well-coordinatedand well-organized advertisingand other media." of private and state actors to undermine its role in Anas' principles., which prevents them from colluding.corruption and social injustice."
Tiger Eye, however, said heremains steadfast in his resolve to fight corruption.

May 18, 2023 | PRESS RELEASE
NYANTAKYI AND LAWYERS WILL SEE ANAS \' FACE BEFORE LEGAL INTEREST.
Subject: REPUBLIC V. KEWSINYANTAKYI AND MORE
1. Tiger Eye PI has learned of the decision of the High Court sitting in Accra allowingundercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas to testify in public in open court and first present the accused in court . 2.Anas initially agreed to testify as a witness in the aforementioned case after Ahmed Hussein Suale was brutally killed, on the condition that his identity would beprotected. 3. Anas's request for the protection of his identity stems from his role as a private investigator and the real highrisk that exposing him to the accused will compromise his physical security and personal safety. 4. Remember that Ahmed Hussein Suale, the star who testified to this, was killedin daylight in 2019. His execution happened on the same day he was working with the Attorney General's office for his testimony against the defendant in the aforementioned case.
5. Before the gruesome murder, the late Ahmed Suale receiveddeath threats from Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi and faced a brutalmedia attack for his role as a star witness in the case, culminating in his identity being revealed on National Televisionand Social Media by Mr. Kennedy. Agyapong, MP for Assin-Central Constituency.
6. Even if Anas is ready andwilling to testify for the prosecution, doing so under the conditions specified by the court presents a clear and present risk to his safety and security, especially for the reasons those discussed above.
7. In these circumstances, prudence demands that he declines the invitation to risk his life and thereby decline the invitation to present the accused in the jury room or anywhere else.
8. Anya Tiger agrees with Anas'position and says that it is appropriate and wise to err on the side of caution to avoid any potential conflict with another person doing his research.
9. The status of Tiger Eye is being improved by the non-stop propaganda, organization and well-financed and other propaganda of private actors in the state to destroy its workand the principles of Anas, which prevents they increasecorruption and injustice in society.
ten. Nevertheless, Eye of theTiger will remain steadfast andunwavering in its fight against corruption and the evils of society. Anas is in good spiritsand thanks the good people of Ghana for their support and protection.
