In a new piece of confirmation coming in, Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti was arrested a few weeks ago after a video of him assaulting a police officer went viral, in the video Seun Kuti was seen shaping the police officer and shouting at him. After the video went viral, Seun was arrested by the police on charges of assaulting an officer of the law who was in uniform. Seun narrating what ensued leading to this aggressive act revealed that the police tried killing him and his family by hitting the police vehicle on the track of his car which left his daughter traumatized, hence his action.
After his arrest, Seun Kuti was charged to court, and the Lagos police pleaded with the court to land Seun Kuti a 21 days remand in custody as the assaulted officer is in a coma at an undisclosed hospital. In new information, the Lagos Chief Magistrate collides with the Nigerian police to Amend the order and include a Drug test on the musician a reaction to the drugs could have caused his aggressive behavior.
