A year ago
A sad and viral video fast circulating online, had an immigrant working in South Africa being abused by some South African nationals. In the video fast gaining attraction, the man believed to be in his 40s was called over by some South Africans and asked his name, he replied by saying his name is Ebien, they then proceeded to ask him the car he was driving, he added that he was driving a GB number plate. The nationals then proceeded to ask why he was driving a South African car while he was not a citizen.
They then proceeded to make him run around a huge factory car park as punishment. The abuse of immigrants in South Africa is becoming very alarming, in recent years, the world has witnessed many brutalities by immigrants in South Africa by the South African nationals. The video has generated a whole lot of reactions and a few of them are highlighted below;

“But we see South African drivers in Zimbabwe,
Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, etc. The SA
government needs to intervene this is
unacceptable”.
@Centiaeres•
“Do u know most South Africans don't care about
your feelings cos Most South Africans don't have
jobs due to the influx of foreigners. If Zimbabweans
can learn 2 stop running away and solve their
problems in their country”.
@MarshallKhetha5 •
“The whole world is aware of what is happening in
SA but there's no interference because it's just
black people torturing each other they don't
care. The sad thing is white people are also foreigners but
nobody will bother them, or even wake up the next day
deciding to revoke their permits”.
@doneghluis
“The truck is bought by an individual. This
is not a government truck. The individual decided to
employ someone serious instead of employing a
person who won't show up on a Monday morning
because "he is drunk baba" Only the men complain
about our jobs, the women are mostly employed.
Take charge of your life black men and stop blaming
others for your laziness”.
@PanAfric04 •
“Hoping he is safe though after this heartbreaking
very dark side that fellow Africans display. May he
and his family find favor too”.
@Crediblesauce_ •
“I don't know why my family is so adamant on
going on holiday to South Africa this year, if it were
up to me, I wouldn't put a penny of my hard-earned
money into their economy”.
