Vinicius Junior said "bigotry is typical in LaLiga" after the Genuine Madrid star was shipped off having confronted bigoted maltreatment from the stands in a 1-0 loss at Valencia on Sunday.


Vinicius pointed out fans to the referee who, he claimed, had racially abused him, causing the game at the Mestalla to be stopped for ten minutes in the second half.


The Brazilian kept on playing however was shipped off in injury time after he became engaged with a fight with Valencia players. VAR awarded a red card to the 22-year-old after he shoved Valencia striker Hugo Duro amid heated exchanges between the two teams.


Genuine Madrid supervisor Carlo Ancelotti denounced the maltreatment and said Vinicius' response was "reasonable" in the conditions.


This season, Vinicius has been the target of racist abuse multiple times. LaLiga has reported eight instances of "racist behavior" against the forward this season, including against Real Madrid rivals Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, prior to Sunday's match.


Vinicius wrote, "The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi today belongs to racists" in a social media post.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, issued an extraordinary Twitter response to Vinicius in which he accused the Brazilian of “insulting” the Spanish league.


Tebas said that Vinicius had missed "two agreed dates" to talk about how LaLiga would respond to racist abuse.

LaLiga issued a statement in which it stated that it would launch an investigation into the incident that occurred on Sunday at Valencia and that it would take legal action if "any hate crime is detected."

Ancelotti said LaLiga "has an issue" subsequent to uncovering he believed that the official should stop the match following the bigoted maltreatment.

Genuine Madrid chief Ancelotti would not discuss football after Vinicius was mishandled


La Liga's assertion read: " La Liga reports that it has requested all available images to investigate the events that took place during the Valencia CF vs. Real Madrid CF match at the Mestalla Stadium.


“If a hate crime is found after the investigation is finished, La Liga will proceed with the necessary legal action.


"La Liga will also look into the pictures that show racial slurs being hurled at Vinicius Jr. outside the Mestalla stadium."


“Isolated incidents” were denounced by Valencia in their own statement.

“Valencia CF would like to publicly condemn all forms of insults and attacks in football. Albeit this is a disconnected episode, put-downs to any rival player have no bearing in football and don't fit with the qualities and character of Valencia CF. The club examining happened and will go to the most extreme lengths against the culprits.
