Formal discussions between Tottenham and Feyenoord are yet to take place.
However, it has been widely recognised that the Dutch club would look to recoup a fee in the region of £6million - a price linked to a release clause that kicks-in next summer - to free Slot from his contract.
However, Mail Sport has learned that the Dutch club will demand over that amount due to plans from Slot to bring coaches Marino Pusic and Sipke Hulsoff with him to north London.

Feyenoord will demand over that amount due to Spurs' plans to bring in Marino Pusic and Sipke Hulsoff who are part of Slot's coaching staff at the Dutch champions
Sources have indicated that there are growing tensions behind the scenes at Feyenoord over Slot’s future.
It is understood a key meeting is planned between the Dutch club and Slot’s agent Rafaela Pimenta later this week.
Feyenoord have offered Slot a new deal worth over £2.5million - one of the most lucrative contracts in the club’s history.
However, the club are resigned to Pimenta informing them Slot wants to leave for Tottenham during talks on Wednesday.
The expectation is for Tottenham to formalise their interest with the Eredivise club once Feyenoord are informed of his intention to depart.
However, Slot’s plan to bring Pusic and Hulsoff with him will complicate his departure.
Because Slot’s £6million release clause cannot be activated until 2024, Spurs will be required to negotiate the 44-year-old’s exit from the Dutch club.
There has been an understanding Feyenoord would accept a figure similar to next season’s clause this year.
However, the Dutch champions are set to demand more if Slot insists on taking Pusic and Hulsoff with him.

Slot’s potential move to Tottenham has also led to anger at Feyenoord because they have already committed to signing two of his transfer targets - Ramiz Zerrouki and Thomas van den Belt for combined total of £7million.
Mail Sport revealed last week that Tottenham had accelerated their interest in Slot.
Exploratory talks with regards to appointing Slot are understood to have taken place on Thursday and continued into Friday.
