Following the Brazilian's treatment during Real Madrid's 1-0 loss to Valencia, Vinicius Jnr. said that the league now "belongs to racists." LaLiga president Javier Tebas has refuted this assertion.
Following the game, Vinicius Jnr criticized LaLiga and the Spanish Football Federation harshly on social media.
The Real Madrid forward claimed that despite once having a league that was the envy of Europe, Spanish football had fallen to a new low.
The 22-year-old Vinicius Jnr had endured harassment this season, and the racial shouts he heard before and during the game were the most recent instance.

Vinicius Jr.'s statements prompted Tebas to respond, saying the winger had missed numerous meetings to resolve the matter.
