The Brazil attacker was allegedly the target of a racial abuse on Sunday during Real's 1-0 LaLiga loss at Valencia.
In a complaint sent to the Spanish State Attorney General's Office, Real Madrid claims that racism directed at Vinicius Junior is a "hate crime" that must be prosecuted.
The Brazilian forward has drawn attention to what he terms "continuous episodes spread across several cities in Spain" after he allegedly came under racial attack during Real's 1-0 LaLiga loss at Valencia on Sunday.
According to Valencia, police have identified the fan who allegedly made racial gestures toward Vinicius, and the offender now faces a permanent ban from the Mestalla.
"Each game played away from home is an unpleasant shock. And this season, there were plenty. Death desires, a doll that was hung, and several criminal shouts Vinicius tweeted on Monday evening, "All registered.
But the focus of the discourse is usually on 'unique cases' or 'a fan. No, these are not unique instances. They are nonstop episodes that take place in various Spanish cities (and even in a television show).
"The video contains the proof. How many of these racists had their identities and images published online, I wonder now? To make it simpler, I respond, "Zero." None to share a depressing tale or issue those phony public apologies.
"What is needed to make these folks criminals? And penalize clubs in a fair manner? Why doesn't La Liga charge sponsors? Why don't televisions broadcast this heinousness every weekend?
"The issue is severe, and communications are broken. Not using my actions as an excuse for wrongdoing, either. You're not a football; you're a monster.
After the break, the match was stopped as Vinicius identified the spectators who were reportedly insulting the referee.
His club issued the following strongly worded statement: "Real Madrid CF expresses its utmost repugnance and condemns the actions that occurred yesterday against our player Vinicius Junior.
