President Wontumi took Afia Schwarzenegger to court for allegedly violating her parole in a previous contempt case. However, after the first hearing,it was dismissed.
According to Afia's lawyer, they only arrived at the court to see that the plaintiff and his lawyers were not present. Healso revealed that he only saw a few articles in the newspaper,adding that he and his client have not received a summonsto appear in court on May 17, 2023.
Based on this development, he asked the court to quash the case. According to him, the court heard him and droppedthe case mainly due to the absence of President Wontumi and his legal team.
