At the player's farewell party on Sunday night, Jurgen Klopp paid a beautiful tribute to departing Liverpool legend Roberto Firmino, praising his "incredible football brain."
As Klopp delivered a brief address to tables crowded with his teammates and their families, the coaching staffs, and Liverpool staff members, the athlete appeared visibly moved by his manager's comments.
After a successful eight-year tenure at the club during which he won the Premier League, the Champions League, the Carabao Cup, and the FA Cup under Klopp, Firmino is leaving Anfield.

In his remarks, Klopp expressed his admiration for the 31-year-old, referring to him as a "really special" player.
You are so football-smart, Klopp said, that you always receive the first workout during practices.
It's like the expression "Ah, okay, go for it" that you may have seen once. With all the technical stuff, it's incredibly unique and it helps to shape the player you are, but your football IQ is outstanding.
"That all contributes to who you are as a player and is good."
Klopp said on Saturday that it had been challenging to get ready for the game against Villa knowing that it would be the last outing for cherished players like Firmino and James Milner, who has been linked to a move to.
Klopp continued, "The two boys showed what we will miss" in their performances.
The leaving celebration included a supper as well as pictures of Firmino with his teammates and the several awards the Brazilian has won with the team since signing from Hoffenheim in 2015.
Following Klopp's remarks, Firmino and his teammates made their way to the platform, where the forward removed his tie and put on a Liverpool jersey. Jordan Henderson then led the audience in a boisterous rendition of the player's "Si Senor" shout.
Firmino's departure from the team is still uncertain, but the LaLiga winners Barcelona have been strongly linked to him, with a deal for the free agent supposedly already negotiated.
